A game concept
BulletSponge is a game concept I came up with after completing the Unreal Engine C++ Developer course by GameDev.tv on Udemy.
The core functionality of the game is that you gain ammo when being shot but once you are at full ammo you will begin taking damage. The idea is inspired by the modern Doom games where you gain resources from enemies.
Using the skills I learnt through the Udemy course I made a playable prototype of this concept in the Unreal Engine. This prototype can be downloaded from my itch.io page linked at the bottom of this webpage.
I hope to further expand on this prototype someday and add more weapons, enemies and a more complex enemy AI.
