A Christmas Miracle
This game was my entry for the Secret Santa 2021 jam hosted on itch.io
In this game jam we each recieved letters from our giftee with a brief description of themselves and what type of game they would like. My giftee asked for a game like Undertale/Deltarune which are amazing games.
I decided to theme my game around Christmas and eggs which was an idea from the result of at the time sleep deprivation.
For my own unique take on the battles there are only 2 options, ATTACK or HEAL. If the player heals they will recieve a multiplier on how much damage they take over the rest of the battle meaning that healing will also come with a risk.
I worked on everything in this jam on my own other than the music and sounds within the game which were aquired from free to use websites. Working on my own for this gave me the opportunity to push myself to use parts of Unity I would normally avoid and to give myself more of an understanding of both the engine and overall game development.
